   Overview

Hawaii's Original #1 Shark Tour
See the beauty and splendor of Hawaii's sharks as they rise from the depths to greet you. This thrilling experience the first and finest in Hawaii, will profoundly affect your feelings towards sharks, as you join them three miles out of sea off Oahu's beautiful North Shore.

The shark, "mano" in Hawaiian, is still central to the culture of the native Hawaiians and is featured in many legends.

The shark is nature's most perfect predator (excluding man). Sharks have existed for over 350 million years, even before the time of the dinosaurs. The sharks featured on this boat tour include the gray reef, Galapagos, sandbar and hammerhead.

In Hawaiian legend, each island has its own shark god. The king shark god of Oahu is Kamohoali'i. His lair is an underwater cave off of Pearl Harbor. (You will not be visiting Kamohoali'i.) He is the top shark god and elder brother of the fire goddess Pele. Kamohoali'i is also known as Moho, the provider of the canoe that brought Pele to Hawai'i from Tahiti.

The ancient Hawaiians hunted sharks for their meat, teeth and skin. Heiaus or temples were built in honor of the shark gods. Just as each island has its own shark god, many Hawaiian families had personal shark aumakuas, or guardian spirits.

Watching a shark rise from the depths is an unforgettable experience ... a primal adventure.

You will leave Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor and travel out to sea to view these beautiful creatures. Often on the way you will also view dolphins, the Hawaiian green sea turtles, and in the winter months, the famous Humpback whales. All this, and a breathtaking view on Oahu's North Shore are part of the tour.

Two-hour tours are scheduled throughout the day from 7:00am. Dive, swim and view sharks from a secure metal cage. Take home video and pictures of your adventure.

The vessels "KAILOLO I" and "KAILOLO II" are moored in slip 35 of the Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor.

“You Ruined Our Trip!!!
We took your swimming with the sharks tour as the first thing we did when we got to Hawaii. Everything else we did after that paled in comparison to that.

It was the most thrilling and amazing thing we have ever done in our lives. Our two boat persons ... were both courteous and helpful the whole time. The Jaws theme music before we entered the water made it all the more thrilling.

We toured the island in full and snorkeled and swam with the rays all of which were nothing compared to what your company offered.

Thank you for making the best memory we could get out of our honeymoon.

Thank You Again
Jason & Tammy, Las Vegas NV

P.S. We will be back next year to take your tour again.
